Location: Whitecourt
Shift: Starting at 4pm
Clean and care for buildings and facilities: dry mop floor areas; vacuum carpeted areas; dust furniture, shelves, sanitize desktops, whiteboards, and fixtures as required; wash and disinfect washroom floors, toilets, fixtures and clean mirrors; empty waste baskets, garbage cans and recycling receptacles weighing 10 lbs or less – assistance available for heavier lifting if required; clean walls, doors, hardware, glass and damp mop floors at the assigned location; assist with moving furniture during summer cleaning; other duties as assigned by the supervisor; Secure storage areas to ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner; Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies; make note of required equipment repairs and report to the supervisor; Maintain current awareness and the ability to access WHMIS information on-line and ensure proper labeling of chemicals and other cleaning products
Qualifications:
– current clean criminal record check
– WHMIS certificate
– must have reliable transportation
– must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
– must be able to use cleaning chemicals
